EBooks

We have a wide variety of eBooks available on MackinVia.com.  If you click the link and it does not log you in automatically then you will type in HOLTON INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL for your school, then your 6 digit ID and password that you use to log in to your computer.

Book Fairs

We will have several book fairs throughout the year.  For the 2024-25 school year the book fairs are scheduled for:

• December 2-6
• February 4-11
• May 5-9

Catalog

To check our catalog go into Destiny from an in-network computer (on school grounds).  Click on IJ Holton and search for a book.  If you are working on your 40 Book Challenge you can type a genre into the search bar and it will bring up a list of books.  You can add topics to narrow your search.

For example: Typing in “Fantasy” will give you a list of 675 books.  Typing in “Dragon Fantasy” will give you a list of 97 books.

On the right side it will tell you if the books are available.

IJ Holton Library Rules

• Please be respectful to those around you by keeping your voice to a whisper
• You can check out 2 books at a time
• You may have your books for 3 weeks
• You are allowed 1 renewal
• You are responsible for the books you check out. Don't leave them where a sibling or pet can get at them. Always remember where you put them because if they get lost you are responsible for finding them or paying the fine to replace them.
• ENJOY! Books are great and can teach you many things and take you to many places. Have fun with your books!
